Description (Service) Provides services and programs to enhance the lives of women in prenatal period and their families with infants and young children 
 
Offers education and information on various topics including: 
  • Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, Parenting and Child Development 
  • Screening for postpartum and early Childhood 
  • Immunizations 
  • Linkages to community resources including Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP), Aboriginal Healthy Babies Healthy Children (AHBHC), and Postpartum support services
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Eligibility
  • Members of Nipissing First Nation who are pregnant or new parents and have young children younger than 6 years of age 
  • Provides linkages to community resources for families who require additional services
Application Intake assessment for Aboriginal Healthy Babies Healthy Children (AHBHC) required
Languages English ; Interpretive Services - Ojibway, available upon request
