Description (Service) Oversees the operations and maintenance of community infrastructure and related services 
 
Performs a variety of tasks and maintenance operations including: 
  • Road maintenance 
  • Landscaping and community beautification  
  • Street lighting  
  • Maintenance of equipment and operation of the water treatment and sewage treatment plants in Garden Village and Duchesnay 
  • Repairs and maintenance of community buildings and residential homes  
  • Snow removal  
  • Upkeep of public spaces and grounds 
  • Garbage collection and maintenance of landfill site 
  • Participates in a Blue Box recycling program 
  • Posts garbage and recycling collection schedules on website
 
Capital Planning  
Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm 
Mukwa Miikan Landfill: Sat-Tue 9 am-5 pm

Application Mukwa Miikan Landfill Site 
  • Nipissing First Nation members are required to provide proof of residency (status card, driver's license, utility bill) upon entry for free use of landfill 
  • Non-members may use site upon paying tipping fees

Fees Service - Disposal of Freon appliances and tires at landfill ; None
