Description (Service)	Functions as a Crown agency Manages the planning, integration, performance and funding of the health care system in Northeastern Ontario Plans, funds and integrates local health services including hospitals, community support services, long-term care, mental health and addictions services, community health centres and Home and Community Care (formerly the North East Community Care Access Centre) Maintains three main offices: North Bay, Sault Ste Marie, Sudbury Maintains 6 Branch offices and their respective satellite offices: Kirkland Lake Branch - Englehart and Haileybury satellite offices North Bay Branch - Burk's Falls and Sturgeon Falls satellite offices Parry Sound Branch Sault Ste Marie Branch - Blind River, Elliot Lake and Wawa satellite offices Sudbury Branch - Espanola satellite office Timmins Branch - Cochrane, Hearst, Matheson/Iroquois Falls, Kapuskasing, Smooth Rock Falls and Moosonee satellite offices
