Description & Services
Description (Service) Operates a general history museum concentrating on the history of the community and area 
  • Houses a diverse collection of artifacts which portray the area's history from the 1830's to the present 
  • Located in the original town lock-up and jailer's home built between 1878-1883 
  • Includes other buildings on the grounds such as a pioneer home, school, blacksmith shop and driving shed 
  • Participates as a member in the Manitoulin Island Museums group and hosts occasional meetings
