Description (Service)
  • Provides non-perishable food items to individuals and families in emergency situations 
  • Accepts donations year-round of food items and/or cash 
  • Coordinates a clothing exchange for infant development 
  • Accepts information about furniture donations; places ad on local television station and people pick up directly from donor
Hours Family Centre: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm 
Food Bank: Tue, Thu 10 am-3 pm

Eligibility
  • Members of Wikwemikong First Nation who are Ontario Works recipients 
  • Will consider low income individuals and seniors but need to fill out application or onetime circumstance
Application Must complete an application form upon arrival
Languages English ; Interpretive Services - Ojibway, available upon request
