  • Serviced by air through Manitoulin East Municipal Airport in Little Current 
  • Provides a Library, Recreation Centre & Gym complex 
  • Provides an Elder's Apartment Complex 
  • Offers the Forever Young Elders Drop-In Centre, a Day Care Centre and Gunners Gas Bar & Store 
  • Provides a fitness centre equipped with treadmills, rowing machine, weights and bicycle as well as showers, television and stereo  
  • Offers several local private businesses such as Duke's Fish & Chips, MCI Construction, Brian Corbiere's Bussing, JS & Sons Auto Care, Thunderstorm Cleaning & Painting, Karen's Cakes & Crafts and Mnidoo Mnising Treasures and Things Consignment Store 
  • Provides recreational facilities including 3 children's playgrounds, outdoor ice rink, horseshoe pits, tennis court and baseball field 
  • Hosts an annual First Nation Traditional Pow Wow in June
