Description (Service)
  • Works to advance the integration of health services in the areas of mental health and addictions that are better suited to the health needs of First Nations youth and adults of the communities served 
  • Acts as a focal point between partners and local services within United Chiefs and Councils of Mnidoo Mnising 
  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing relevant services in addictions and recommends improvements where necessary
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation ; M'Chigeeng First Nation ; Sheguiandah ; Sheshegwaning ; Whitefish River First Nation ; Zhiibaahaasing First Nation
Eligibility Must belong to one of the member First Nations within the United Chiefs & Councils of Mnidoo Mnising Territory
Application Services are delivered to community members at the local level (Band Office)
Languages English ; Interpretive Services - Ojibwe, available upon request
