Description (Service)
  • Oversees the operations and maintenance of community infrastructure and related services 
  • Maintains a public works garage 
  • Conducts on-going work with a twenty year community plan (2005-2025) for the future infrastructure needs of the community
 
Performs a variety of tasks and maintenance operations including: 
  • Road maintenance including culverts  
  • Brushing of all road sides 
  • Landscaping and community beautification  
  • Street lighting  
  • Maintenance of equipment and operation of the water treatment plant and sewage treatment lagoons 
  • Water mains and storm sewers 
  • Repairs and upkeep of community buildings and residential homes 
  • Upkeep of hiking trails, parks and playgrounds  
  • Snow removal
 
Capital Planning  
  • Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
Hours Sep-Jun: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm 
Jul-Aug: Mon-Fri 8 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm
