  • Serves communities located in the Robinson-Huron Treaty area 
  • Collective on-reserve population of UCCMM, as of Aug 2017 is approx 2,169 people and includes First Nation members of Ojibways, Ottawas and Pottawatomis

  • Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support and advisory services to 6 First Nation communities  
  • Provides technical and professional advisory services and training to enhance the overall management skills and opportunities of the area First Nations in their quest to become self-sufficient  
  • Consists of Chiefs and Councils from each community  
  • Delivers programs and services through local community government  
  • Provides services that respect and reflect the Anishinabe cultural beliefs, traditions and practices

  • Fire Protection Advisory Services  
  • Gwekwaadziwin (Living a Good Life) 
  • Housing Advisory Services 
  • Infrastructure Advisory Services 
  • Justice, Aboriginal Re-integration Support Services (ARISS) Program 
  • Justice, Court Diversion Program 
  • Justice, Gladue Caseworker Program 
  • Justice, Maamwi Noojmodaa Program 
  • Justice, U-Turn Program 
  • Justice, Zoongaabwe-od Eshniig-jik Youth Program  
  • Lands and Resources

Eligibility Must belong to one of the member First Nations within the United Chiefs & Councils of Mnidoo Mnising (UCCMM) Territory
Application Services are delivered to community members at the local level (Band Office)
Languages English ; Interpretive Services - Ojibwe, available upon request ; Anishinabek Language Declaration by the UCCMM states in part "we will ensure that individuals em­ployed in the UCCMM FN territory will perform and provide all work and service functions in their ancestral language by the Year 2030"
