Description (Service)
  • Provides assessments of the foot and the treatment and prevention of diseases, disorders or dysfunctions of the foot by therapeutic, orthotic or palliative means 
  • Provides expertise in the Wound Assessment Clinic
 
Services are provided for the following conditions: 
  • Athletes foot 
  • Bunions 
  • Diabetic foot care, screening and education 
  • Footwear evaluation and recommendation 
  • Gait analysis 
  • Injuries of the foot 
  • Pathological foot care (fungal, ingrown) 
  • Surgical nail removal 
  • Treatment of skin conditions such as warts, corns and calluses 
  • Wound care and debridement
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
Areas Served Kenora ; Lake of the Woods ; Minaki ; Nestor Falls ; Redditt Township ; Sioux Narrows
Boundaries Also includes neighbouring First Nations communities

  • Requires booked appointment

Fees Service ; Chiropodists are recognized as authorized assessors and providers by Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), Non-Insured Health Benefits-Health Canada, Veteran's Affairs, Ontario Works (OW), Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), and Motor Vehicle Accident Insurances
