  • Provides respite care for individuals who have varying health and social needs, physical or developmental disabilities and the elderly 
  • Offers the respite care at Serene or individual's home 
  • Provides assessments for individuals wanting to transition to independent living and assists with life skills training

  • Life Skills and Pre-Employment Training
Hours Bookings: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm 
Respite care: Mon-Sun 24 hours (must be pre-arranged) 
After hours for emergencies only
Areas Served Dryden ; Kenora District ; Rainy River District ; Thunder Bay District
Eligibility Individuals and families requiring respite services due to disability, illness or age
