Description (Service) Breast screening for early detection of breast cancer in women 
  • Conducts mammograms (x-ray of the breast)  
  • Teaches how to perform self examinations
 
NOTE: 
  • Screening includes a two-view mammography where screening results are sent to both the patient and her doctor 
  • Individuals who receive normal results are automatically recalled for their next screening appointment. Individuals with abnormal results are referred back to their doctor for further investigation, or are referred directly for additional tests
Hours General Mammography Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm 
Breast Screening Mon, Wed-Thu 12 noon-4 pm 
Breast Screening Follow-Up Tue 12 noon-4 pm

Eligibility Ages: 50 year(s) - 74 year(s) 
 
  • Women 50 years of age or older and 
  • Has never had breast cancer or breast implants and  
  • Has not had a mammogram within the past year

  • Call for appointment 
  • No referral required for women 50 years and older 
  • Medical referrals also accepted for women between 30 and 69 years
