Description (Service) Diagnostic imaging department 
  • Performs mammograms using digital mammography equipment for early detection of breast cancer 
  • Performs breast biopsies as needed
Hours Walk-in outpatient: Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm 
X-ray: Mon-Fri 7 am-11 pm, Sat-Sun 8 am-4 pm 
Ultrasound: Mon-Thu & am-8 pm, Fri 7 am-6 pm * Sat 8 am-4 pm
Areas Served Alcona ; Dinorwic ; Drayton Township ; Hudson ; Lac Seul First Nation ; Ojibway Nation of Saugeen First Nation ; Pickle Lake ; Sandy Lake First Nation ; Sioux Lookout ; Also serves 27 Treaty #9 Nishnawbe-Aski First Nations communities north of Sioux Lookout
Eligibility Must provide proof of valid provincial health care coverage
Application Medical referral required from family physician or nurse practitioner
Languages English ; Interpretive Services - Cree, Oji-Cree, Ojibway; available upon request
