Public Comments Scheduled transportation: 
  • Wabigoon area: available on Mondays; circuit run consists of predetermined stops in Dryden for a fee of $2.50 one-way and $1.00 for each additional stop 
  • Eagle River area: available on Tuesdays; circuit run consists of predetermined stops in Dryden for a fee of $2.50 one-way and $1.00 for each additional stop 
  • Dryden residents: available on Fridays; circuit run consists of predetermined stops in Dryden for a fee of $1.00 one-way and $1.00 for each additional stop

Description (Service)
  • Provides services and support for Aboriginal individuals to promote integrated response, independent living, community participation and improved quality of life 
  • Works in partnership with the Patricia Region Senior Services Inc
 
Friendly Visiting/Security Checks 
  • Arranges visits and phone calls from staff/volunteers in individual's home on a regular basis  
  • Provides emotional, social and well-being for the individual
 
Scheduled Van Service 
  • Provides transportation to medical appointments, shopping, bill paying, attendance to social/cultural activities and to life enrichment events 
  • Offers the transportation for surrounding communities from Dinorwic to Vermilion Bay one day per week; rest of week services are for Dryden clients  
  • Charges a nominal fee based on one-ways and additional stops
 
Taxi Rebate Program 
  • Provides $5.00 vouchers for eligible clients towards regular taxi fare 
  • Additional charges over the voucher are the responsibility of the client
 
Volunteer Transportation Services 
  • Provides one-on-one and group transportation by community volunteers to special events, outings and appointments when Dryden Native Friendship van is unavailable 
  • Provides the service dependent on availability/feasibility of volunteers
