Description (Service) Provides educational services and supports to elementary and secondary school students living on-reserve  
  • Administers Migisi Sahgaigan School for students from JK-Grade 6 
  • Provides bus transportation for elementary students attending Migisi Sahgaigan on-reserve school 
  • Provides bus transportation for elementary, junior and high school students to attend off-reserve schools in Dryden 
  • Offers end-of-semester allowance to high school students who meet the requirements
 
Post Secondary Student Support Program  
  • Provides financial support to post secondary students attending college/university off-reserve  
  • Provides assistance for applying/filling out application forms for colleges and universities
 
Alternative Education  
  • Administers on-reserve educational instruction and academic upgrading through the Seven Generations Education Institute  
  • Provides class instruction at the secondary, post-secondary and vocational levels
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-3:30 pm

Eligibility
  • Members of Eagle Lake First Nation 
  • All school aged children and youth living on reserve  
  • Any individual living on reserve and pursuing further education
 
Post Secondary Student Support Program 
  • All Band members regardless of residency are eligible to apply for assistance if attending a post-secondary institution 
  • Financial assistance limited by available funding and number of applicants
 
Alternative Education
 
On-reserve individuals 14 years of age and over
Application Post Secondary Student Support Program 
  • Applications for assistance available at office or on website 
  • Deadline to apply for assistance for fall start date is May 31st
