Description (Service) Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements 
  • Provides transportation to any medical appointments within the community 
  • Provides transportation from/to Wauzhushk Onigum to any medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist etc) in the city of Kenora 
  • Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation

Eligibility Members of Wauzhushk Onigum First Nation who require assistance with medical transportation due to illness, injury or age

  • Requires written proof of medical appointment  
  • Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies  
  • Advance cancellation recommended
