  • Shibogama First Nations Council is a member of the Provincial Territorial Organization of Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)  
  • All member communities belong to Treaty #9
Description (Service) Provides advisory services and support for certain environmental issues affecting member communities
 
Services are provided in the following areas: 
  • Environmental site assessments (Class EA, Environmental Screening) 
  • Septic system design 
  • Site decommissioning 
  • Soil remediation 
  • Solid waste management and planning (Waste audits, plans, review of landfill designs and landfill construction management)
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm
Areas Served Kasabonika Lake First Nation ; Kingfisher Lake First Nation ; Wapekeka First Nation ; Wawakapewin First Nation ; Wunnumin Lake First Nation
Eligibility Must belong to one of the member First Nations within the Shibogama First Nations Council territory
Application Services are delivered to community members at the local level (Band Office)
Languages English ; Interpretive Services - Oji-Cree; available upon request
