Description (Service) Operates as a regional training centre to provide certified training programs and workshops to enable individuals to gain employment 
  • Aims to prepare and certify individuals for careers in the mining, construction, forestry, hospitality and resource industries 
  • Offers periodic adult education programs administered by organizations such as Seven Generations Education Institute to enable students to gain an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) 
  • Provides the programs through a partnership with Goldcorp and Seven Generations Education Institute
 
Provides a variety of programs that may include but are not limited to: 
  • Computer Skills and Development 
  • Cultural Awareness and Background Teachings  
  • Entrepreneurship and Small Business Start-up 
  • Forestry Maintenance and Development 
  • Housekeeping and Remote Camp Services 
  • Log Building (Residential) 
  • Mould Inspection Certification 
  • Office Administration 
  • Surface Diamond Driller 
  • Trades and Pre-Apprenticeships
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Kenora District ; Rainy River District ; Thunder Bay District
Eligibility Programs and workshops are open to everyone
