Description (Service) Responsible for planning, developing and implementing all social, recreational and special events for children and youth of the community 
  • Provides various activities such as arts and crafts, video game nights, movie nights and sports events 
  • Organizes and supervises various outdoor activities for youth during summer months such as baseball, basketball, soccer, dodgeball and frisbee 
  • Assists with community events such as feasts, sports tournaments and Homecoming celebration
 
Community events and facilities include: 
  • Community hall 
  • Indoor arena (includes Fitness Centre) 
  • Outdoor rink, basketball court, baseball fields and track/field area 
  • Winter, spring and summer carnivals 
  • Bingos 
  • Raffles 
  • Radio/television auctions 
  • Rummage and bake sales 
  • Walkathons
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-12 noon, 1 pm-5 pm
