Description & Services
Description (Service) Provides early prevention and intervention programs and services for off-reserve preschool children 
  • Strives to meet the emotional, social, health and nutritional needs of children 
  • Coordinates activities such as family gym time, arts and crafts, breakfast and circle time 
  • Provides transportation when required 
  • Participates in community events and special celebrations
 
Offers daily programs focused on: 
  • Aboriginal culture and language 
  • Education and school readiness  
  • Health and nutrition  
  • Parental and family involvement  
  • Social support
Hours Mon-Thu 8:15 am-3:30 pm

Eligibility
  • Off-reserve Aboriginal (status, non-status, Metis or Inuit) children who are 2.5-5 years of age 
  • Priority given to Aboriginal children at-risk 
  • Child must be fully potty-trained

  • Requires completed registration application and  
  • Child's birth certificate and updated immunization record
Languages English ; Interpretive Services - Ojibway, available upon request
