Description & Services
Description (Service) Provides the following services for Indigenous women and their families suffering from behavioural, emotional or psychological issues: 
  • Mental health assessments 
  • Case management 
  • Treatment
 
Services and programs include: 
  • Intake screening and assessment 
  • Care plan determination 
  • Assistance to family members with coping and management skills 
  • Referrals to other agencies and service providers for additional assistance 
  • Intervention through traditional and contemporary methods 
  • Healing and sharing circles 
  • Promotion and education of mental health issues
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-4 pm
Areas Served Hudson ; Sioux Lookout
Eligibility
  • Indigenous women who are pregnant, new mothers or with infants under 12 months of age and struggling with mental health issues 
  • Focus is for Indigenous women but open to anyone in need of services
Application
  • Program registration required 
  • Open to referrals from any source
Languages English ; Interpretive Services - Ojibway, Oji-Cree, Cree; available with advance notice
