  • Hams are provided for 1-2 person families; turkeys are provided for families of 3 or more persons, unless otherwise specified

Grocery Hampers
  • Provides groceries to prepare a full course Christmas dinner, including a ham or turkey
  • Provides extra groceries to assist through the holidays including bread and milk
  • Accepts cash donations year-round; provides receipts upon request
  • Delivers hampers to homes during Christmas week
  • Provides applications for anyone wishing to nominate individuals and families to receive hamper
Toy Program
  • Provides new, gift wrapped toys and knitted items to children
  • Provides a stocking for each child filled with sundry items
  • Delivers toys to homes during Christmas week with hampers
  • Committee prefers cash donations towards toys to enable them to buy gifts themselves specific to children listed in applications
How to donate:
  • Cash donations by cheque can be mailed to Kim Heithoff, 3 John St, Ear Falls OR Chukuni Christmas Cheer Board, Box 123, Ear Falls
  • Non-perishable food items and knitted hats, mittens, scarves etc, can be dropped off at Heithoff residence on 3 John St, or in drop-off boxes at Ear Falls Public School, Grocery Store or Senior Centre

  • Individuals, couples, seniors and families in need  
  • Applications reviewed by committee and eligibility determined on a case-by-case basis; recipient required to sign application
  • Applications are available at Northwestern Health Unit, 25 Spruce St 
  • Appreciate any specifics about delivery date/time of hampers and an addressed, postage-paid reply envelope 
  • Deadline for applications is Dec 7th
