Description (Service) Operates a public on-reserve school for elementary students 
  • Administered by Windigo Education Authority (WEA) who acts in an advisory capacity 
  • Offers some programs for specific needs, such as math, for students from Junior Kindergarten (JK) to Grade 8; programs such as reading comprehension, writing skills and computer instruction offered as funding allows 
  • Teaches Oji-Cree language as a subject course 
  • Provides a daily breakfast program for students 
  • Offers a school gymnasium and library 
  • Offers cultural and traditional outings such as fishing and trapping 
  • Organizes summer school and camps for children
Hours School: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm 
Band Office: Mon-Fri 9 am-12 noon, 1 pm-5 pm
