Description & Services
Description (Service) Provides access to psychological and psychiatric services through video conferencing 
  • Coordinates with Surrey Place Centre in Toronto through the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) to provide various clinical supports from a team consisting of a psychiatrist, a psychiatric nurse, psychologist, behaviour therapists, a speech language pathologist and an occupational therapist 
  • Provides education, information, diagnoses, advice and referrals for medical issues 
  • Eliminates the need to travel long distances to access psychological and psychiatric services 
  • Video conferencing is also used for staff training and educational seminars
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
 
Individuals with an intellectual and/or developmental disability and their families
Application All arrangements and requests for video conferences must be made with Access Coordinator
