Description (Service)
  • Accepts financial donations that are used to assist in local, provincial, and international disasters and emergencies  
  • Partners with local agencies to provide emergency food, shelter and clothing for up to 72 hours for family disasters such as house fires  
  • Works in collaboration with local authorities and other agencies to address the immediate needs of individuals affected  
  • Provides various online resources on emergency preparedness  
  • Trains volunteers to respond to emergencies and disasters locally 
  • Owns and operates a Disaster Management Trailer, a mobile office equipped with modern technology providing support to disaster affected communities
