Description (Service) Responsible for the departments that oversee and provide services to all new municipal development projects 
  • Provides a single point of contact for developers to make the overall approvals process easier 
  • Establishes department mandate through the Municipal Strategic Plan, the Official Plan, the Zoning By-Law and the Ontario Building Code Act
 
Building 
  • Enforces the Ontario Building Code Act 
  • Issues building and related permits 
  • Conducts inspections on building projects 
 
Facilities 
  • Oversees the maintenance, operations and up-keep of all facilities and buildings
 
Land Use Planning 
  • Administers the Planning Act, the Official Plan, zoning by-laws and municipal land sales and purchases 
  • Processes consents and minor variances and zoning by-law applications 
  • Oversees the sale and purchase of municipal land transactions
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm
