Description (Service) Offer outpatient services including assessment and treatment of foot disorders, prescription orthotics and orthopaedic footwear
 
Offers care provided by Registered Occupational Therapists and services provided include: 
  • Advanced Foot Care 
  • Wound Care 
  • Off-Loading Devices 
  • Custom Insoles/Orthotics 
  • Ambulatory/Non-Ambulatory AFO’s 
  • Deflective Padding 
  • Remedial Footwear Modifications
Hours Mon-Fri 7:30 am-4 pm
Areas Served Sault Ste. Marie
Eligibility Must have a valid Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) Card
 
Foot Clinic services are available to patients with diagnoses such as: 
  • Diabetes 
  • Peripheral Vascular Disease 
  • Chronic Wounds (Ulcers, Amputations) 
  • Compromised Immune Systems (Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, CREST Syndrome) 
  • Chronic Renal Failure 
  • Osteoarthritis (Traumatized Joints, Joint Deformities, Nerve Impingements)
Application
  • Prescription required for orthotics 
  • All patients must register at Outpatient Booking/Admitting prior to their Foot Clinic Appointment

Fees Service - Although there are no fees charged for wound care or assessments (treatment plan) there is a fee structure in place for nail care, footwear and orthotics
