Description & Services
Public Comments Program includes up to 21 hours of service per week including as many as 3 visits per day. Services are on a pre-scheduled "block of time" basis
Description (Service) Provides assistance with personal care and activities of daily living
Offers the following services: 
  • Assistance with eating 
  • Assistance with mobility, positioning, and transferring 
  • Assistance with rising and retiring 
  • Bathing/showering and washing 
  • Bowel and Bladder routine 
  • Dressing/undressing 
  • Essential communication 
  • Exercising 
  • Light house cleaning/home management 
  • Meal preparation 
  • Medication monitoring 
  • Tracheotomy care where the needs of the person are stable
Hours Mon-Sun 6 am-12 midnight, year-round

Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
Individuals must: 
  • Have a valid OHIP card 
  • Require physical assistance due to a permanent disability 
  • Be medically stable 
  • Be capable or potentially capable of directing their services 
  • Be able to live safely unattended (assistance is by appointment only)
