Description (Agency) Provides care and high quality services to seniors, people with a disability and people suffering from a chronic or extended disease
Description (Service) Operates a 67 bed long term care home offering a variety of programs, services and amenities
 
Coordinates and delivers the following programs to residents: 
  • Community Special Events  
  • Facility Tours  
  • Guest Speakers  
  • Intergenerational Programs  
  • Memorial Services  
  • Pet Visitation/Therapy  
  • Volunteer Appreciation Events  
  • Voting Day Polling Station 
  • Exercise and Weight Training  
  • Outdoor Gardens/Horticultural Activities
 
Provides residents with the following services: 
  • 24-hour Nursing Care and Supervision 
  • 24-hour On Call Physician  
  • Care Conferences 
  • Foot Care 
  • Hairdressing/Barber Services  
  • Laundry Services  
  • Meals 
  • Medication administration 
  • Palliative care 
  • Physician Visits 
  • Social Work Services/Family Services Coordinator  
  • Spiritual Programs and Pastoral Care  
  • Various recreational programs and social events
 
Offers the following amenities: 
  • Air exchange 
  • Alarms on exit doors 
  • Common television room 
  • Private and semi-private rooms with 2-piece washroom (toilet & sink) 
  • Shared shower/bathing rooms 
  • Secure building exits 
  • Secure units
Hours Office Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm 
Services Mon-Sun 24 hours

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
 
  • Have a valid Ontario Health Card  
  • Have health care needs that cannot be met with any combination of caregiving, care in your home or care in your community  
  • Have health care needs that can be met in a long term care home
