Description (Service)
  • Oversees a choice of housing options available to individuals with intellectual disabilities  
  • Provides supports to individuals living in the homes as determined by individual needs; supports can range from a few hours to 24-hour supports with a focus on assisting the individuals to gain the highest possible level of independence and community inclusion
Supports can include: 
  • Banking, other financial assistance and shopping 
  • Home maintenance and laundry 
  • Medical appointments assistance (doctors, dentists and optometrists) 
  • Medication reminders and pick-up 
  • Social/leisure activities including visiting with family and friends
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm 
Supports Mon-Sun 24 hours
Areas Served Cochrane ; Kapuskasing ; Includes communities along Hwy 11 from Opasatika to Cochrane
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up
