Description (Service)
  • Awards several annual scholarships for Wabun Tribal Area youth enrolled in a secondary or post secondary school 
  • Sponsors the Annual Wabun Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament to raise funds towards the scholarships
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Beaverhouse First Nation ; Brunswick House First Nation ; Chapleau Ojibway First Nation ; Flying Post First Nation ; Matachewan First Nation ; Mattagami First Nation
Eligibility
  • Must belong to one of the member First Nations 
  • Open to any Wabun First Nation student who is enrolled in a secondary or post secondary school
Application
  • Must submit letter indicating why he/she deserves scholarship and what program attending; address letter Attn: Shawn Batise 
  • Must include proof of academic performance or recent transcript 
  • Contact Wabun office for current deadline to apply
