Description (Service) Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements 
  • Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community  
  • Provides transportation from/to Moose Cree First Nation Reserve to any medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist, specialist) at James Bay General Hospital in Moosonee 
  • Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-5 pm

Eligibility Members of Moose Cree First Nation who require medical transportation assistance due to age or disability

  • Requires written proof of medical appointment  
  • Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies  
  • Advance cancellation recommended
