Description (Service) Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements 
  • Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community  
  • Provides assistance with transportation arrangements from/to Fort Albany First Nation Reserve to any medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist, specialist) in Moosonee or Timmins 
  • Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation
Hours Band Office: Mon-Fri 9 am-12 noon, 1 pm-5 pm

Eligibility Members of Fort Albany First Nation who require transportation assistance due to age or health-related issues

  • Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies  
  • Advance cancellation recommended
