Description (Service) Assists Ontario Works participants by providing: 
  • Assistance in job searches and researching job ads 
  • Computer use and assistance to update resum├ęs and write cover letters 
  • Employment counselling in various areas including preparing for interviews 
  • Information about other programs
 
Offers access to the following job search tools:  
  • Access to Service Canada Job bank website  
  • Community Placement Program (for volunteer opportunities) 
  • Computer and Internet access  
  • Fax machine, phone and photocopier  
  • Information on the Enhanced Employment Placement Program (for paid employment and training)
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm

Eligibility
  • Members of Constance Lake First Nation 
  • Must be recipient of Ontario Disability Support Pension (ODSP) or Ontario Works (OW)
Application No appointment necessary; operates on a drop-in basis
