Description (Service)
  • Operates a community-based, non-profit monthly fruit and vegetable distribution program that aims to improve access to good food by making quality, affordable, fresh produce available in neighborhoods across the city  
  • Assists individuals with low or fixed incomes access fresh produce year round  
  • Improves food access, improves nutrition, saves money, encourages community involvement and supports the local food system
Hours Payment and order date: First Thu of each month 
Pick-up date: Third Thu of each month

  • Visit ACT website to find a convenient host site to place an order; if no answer, call the GFB Program Coordinator 
  • Place order and pay at a host site by the first Thu of the month and pick up order at the same host site on the third Thu of the month
