Description (Service)
  • Provides education and support for Aboriginal males to address issues of violence against women 
  • Promotes positive change in values, attitudes and behaviours 
  • Fosters healing and enables individuals, families and communities to achieve and enjoy a healthy and balanced life
 
Services offered include: 
  • Fitness and recreation activities 
  • Peer counselling 
  • Referrals for services such as shelters, court workers, legal, addictions 
  • Traditional ceremonies 
  • Workshops
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm

Eligibility Ages: 13 year(s) and up 
 
Self-identified Aboriginal men and male teens
Application
  • Open to self-referrals and referrals from outside agencies 
  • Aboriginal men or male youth may also be court ordered to attend the program as part of a conditional sentence or youth diversion program
