Public Comments Wasa-Nabin comes from the Ojibway, meaning “to look ahead"
Description (Service) Provides a culturally based program to support and address concerns of Aboriginal youth who are at risk of negative behaviors
 
Offers the following services: 
  • Advocacy 
  • Case conferences 
  • Individual/group activities 
  • Needs assessment 
  • Peer counselling 
  • Referrals 
  • Support circles
 
Traditional services offered: 
  • Culturally appropriate services 
  • Exposure to and knowledge of traditional foods and preparation 
  • Traditional roles and responsibilities 
  • Workshops
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
