Description & Services
Public Comments Vouchers for vitamin supplements, milk and food are only available to women enrolled in the program. 
Services are provided by a Registered Dietitian who travels to the community.

Description (Service)
  • Offers nutritional counselling with a dietitian 
  • Teaches healthy eating habits for both mother and infant 
  • Teaches mothers how to breastfeed and offers related support and information 
  • Offers participants milk and food vouchers as well as vitamin supplements
Hours Office Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm Sep-Jun * Mon-Fri 8 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm Jul-Aug 
Program: Hours vary, call to determine when the Registered Dietitian will be at this location

Eligibility Must have a valid Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) card
 
Pregnant women: 
  • living on a low income 
  • living in social isolation with limited access to services 
  • living in difficult life circumstances such as violence 
  • who smoke, drink alcohol or use harmful substances
