Description & Services
Description (Service) Functions as a community-based work, recreation and leisure program that seeks to meet the individualized needs and interests of participants 
  • Promotes physical fitness through bowling, skiing, nature trail walks, snow shoeing and swimming 
  • Encourage participation in leisure activities including singing and musical groups, arts and crafts, board games, puzzles and other leisure opportunities available in the community 
  • Promotes volunteerism at local charities and non-profit organizations 
  • Provides opportunties for contract work including delivering papers for the Timmins Times, stuffing envelopes for charity campaigns or gift wrapping for local businesses 
  • Offers day outings such as activities at the beach, day camps, fishing, shopping and visiting regional attractions 
  • Organizes specialized activities associated with holidays and current events
Hours Mon-Fri 8:15 am-4:15 pm
