Description & Services
Description (Service) Provides services and support to individuals who are involved with the judicial system and would benefit from community or hospital based mental health services as an alternative to incarceration
 
Court support services are offered based on client need and can include: 
  • Accessing and retaining legal representation  
  • Assistance with bail release  
  • Case management services  
  • Information and referrals for community support services, housing, psychiatric and income supports  
  • Recommendations to the court at time of sentencing on behalf of individual
Hours Mon-Sun 9 am-9 pm
Areas Served Hearst
Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
 
  • Individuals who gave been accused of a minor offence 
  • Individuals who have or have previously had problems directly related to mental health 
  • Must be able to show evidence indicating that mental health issues have had a direct contribution to the offence committed 
  • Individuals cannot pose a serious threat to the community
Application Referrals accepted by anyone including family and friends
