  • Offers psychosocial treatments to help speed up the recovery process and promote good quality of life for the individual and their family 
  • Provides emotional supports and performs a comprehensive assessment to determine the client's unique needs 
  • Helps clients become educated about psychosis and treatment 
  • Offers practical assistance with day to day living (e.g. helps establish a routine, develop a plan for return to work or school, find suitable housing, obtain financial assistance, etc) 
  • Provides a range of pyschosocial treatments depending on unique needs 
  • Referrals to other service providers or community programs as needed 
  • Provides a psychiatric assessment including treatment recommendations and medication monitoring

Individuals experiencing signs and symptoms of psychosis which have not been treated for a period exceeding 6 to 12 months
Application Referrals may come directly from the individual, family member or friend, or from emergency services, hospitals, physicians or community agencies
