Description (Service)
  • Provides support to women who are leaving a violent relationship 
  • Offers accompaniment service at all stages to help women settle into a life without violence
 
Services may include: 
  • accompaniment to hospital, lawyer or court 
  • assistance with the development of a personal safety plan 
  • assistance with procedures relating to legal and financial assistance, job seeking and apartment hunting 
  • community awareness and education 
  • home and community visits 
  • short-term individual counselling 
  • telephone support
Hours Mon-Sun 9 am-9 pm

Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
 
Women who have been victims of violence
Application Referrals may be made by the individual, family members or friends, the Ontario Provincial Police, hospitals, or community agencies
