Description (Service)
  • Provides door to door transportation 
  • Provides rural and local residents transportation for medical or health related appointments as first priority in/out of town (Timmins, Kapuskasing and Kirkland Lake) 
  • Offers transportation within town for errands and shopping only if vehicle is available
 
NOTE: Cannot accommodate wheelchairs

Eligibility Individuals 55 years of age and older and those younger than 55 years of age with a disability 
  • Prospective clients must not be able to access the public transportation services (too far to walk/bus stairs too difficult) 
  • Must not be able to drive themselves 
  • Must not live in a long-term care facility 
  • Must be able to get in and out of the vehicle with minimal assistance
