Description & Services
Description (Service) Provides services aimed at preparing children for school entry through supported enrollment into community child care centres 
  • Develops Individual Teaching Plans (ITP) focusing on motor, cognitive, language and social development 
  • Recommends referrals for specialized services (i.e. speech therapy, physiotherapy, behavioural, auditory and visual care) 
  • Offers resource teachers to provide assistance (1staff person for two children, depending on needs) 
  • Provides supports to parents and families (home visits) 
  • Offers swimming program and other outings 
  • Provides transportation by school bus
