  • Operates a residential program that provides the managed alcohol program 
  • Supports individuals with housing and assists with their primary care and mental health needs 
  • Administers moderate amounts of alcohol on a daily basis by medical personnel 
  • Alcohol amounts are determined by a physician's medical assessment and direction 
  • Strives to improve quality of life and reduce the risk of harms associated with consuming non-palatable forms of alcohol, such as mouthwash
Hours Mon-Tue, Thu-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm * Wed 8:30 am-6 pm
Areas Served Manitoulin District ; Sudbury District
Eligibility Individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and have severe and chronic alcohol abuse issues
  • Individuals are requested to complete the intake process in person, either at the CMHA office or be met in the community 
  • If an individual cannot be present, contact the Intake Team by calling the main office 
  • The Severity of Alcohol Dependency (SADQ) scale is used to determine if an individual is suitable for the program
