Description (Service)
  • Provides health care services for ill, injured, new mothers or elderly community members in their own home 
  • Assists elders and families that have members with disabilities in their residence with routine household activities such as light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, meal preparation and personal care 
  • Offers respite care and overview of general health and physical safety needs of the client
Hours Office Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm
Areas Served Chapleau ; For service requests outside Chapleau boundaries, additional fees apply
Eligibility Elderly, convalescing, terminally or chronically ill, people with disabilities, and new mothers living in their own homes
Application No referral required; call to make arrangements
Languages English ; French
Fees Service - Range from $6-$12 per hour, based on income
