Description (Service) Responsible for planning, developing and implementing sport, recreational and leisure programs for members of the community 
  • Facilities include Cousineau beach, community gymnasium, outdoor rink, playground and baseball field (ball park) 
  • Arranges bookings of the ball park for families and private events 
  • Works to reduce barriers for community members to lead a more active healthy lifestyle 
  • Works to secure alternative funding sources to provide recreation programs 
  • Offers activities for children during Professional Activity days at school 
  • Provides planned activities for children during special holidays such as Easter
 
Offers the following activities: 
  • Baseball, including coordinating summer games roster 
  • Basketball 
  • Volleyball 
  • Hockey skills workshops 
  • Fitness programs such as family swims and gym nights
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
