Description (Service)
  • Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements  
  • Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community as well as from/to Wasauksing First Nation to surrounding communities including Parry Sound and Sudbury
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Wasauksing First Nation
Eligibility Members of Wasauksing First Nation who require assistance with medical transportation due to illness, injury or age
Application
  • Requires written proof of medical appointment  
  • Requires 24 hour advance booking for in-town medical trips 
  • Requires 2 weeks notice or as soon as possible for out-of-town medical trips 
  • Must arrange for own driver for out-of-town trips  
  • Advance cancellation required
