  • Consists of 3 separate reserves: French River 13, the main reserve located on Pickerel River Rd approx 80 km S of Sudbury with a land area of 25.4 sq km, Henvey Inlet 2 located on NE shores of Georgian Bay approx 90 km S of Sudbury with a land area of 96.1 sq km and Cantin Island Reserve (part of French River 13 but on the opposite side of Pickerel River) which is presently being used for seasonal camping and recreational cottages only 
  • Henvey Inlet 2 has a small population and the only development is basically the 12 members homes

  • Serviced by air through the Sudbury airport approx 80 km N of community and the Parry Sound Airport approx 90 km S of community 
  • Provides a Canada Post outlet with home mail delivery 
  • Offers the Henvey Inlet Gas Bar and shopping available nearby in Britt, 28 km S of community but also in Sudbury and Parry Sound, both within an hour's drive 
  • Provides the Kateri Tekawitha Roman Catholic Church 
  • Manages the seasonal Pickerel River Trailer Park and Marina 
  • Served with municipal water by the new Water Treatment plant in Pickerel 
  • School-aged children attend elementary school in Britt and high school in Parry Sound 
  • Provides recreational facilities including outdoor rink, baseball diamond, a playground, and a small beach located on the SE side of Cantin Lake
