Description & Services
Description (Service) Provides advisory services with respect to all aspects of community infrastructure  
  • Provides advisory services on the technical, environmental, financial and economic aspects of the planning, design, construction and operation of infrastructure systems and buildings including water, sewer, road and drainage systems and schools 
  • Monitors and identifies infrastructure needs of member communities through a variety of means including condition reports and annual inspection reports  
  • Includes assistance with completion of forms and reports for consulting services, capital project applications, environmental screening reports, Terms of References, technical reports, status reports and various Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) reporting requirements 
  • Provides advisory services for life-cycle costing, estimating and planning, design and implementation of minor and major capital projects  
  • Assists with the completion of short and long-term planning such as 5-year and 20-year capital project plans 
  • Monitors and advises on level of service standards (LOSS), and building, fire, and other related codes 
  • Oversees the development of the First Nations Asset Management project

Eligibility Must belong to one of the member First Nations within the Waabnoong Bemjiwang Association of First Nations (WBAFN) Territory
Application Services are delivered to community members at the local level (Band Office)
